hold on

hold on

in the times  when things are hard

and we’re constantly pulled apart

hold on

to the memories of our good times

times when you committed crimes

such as stealing my heart

hold on

even when I tell you to let go

just hold on…

hold on to me

it was just yesterday…

it was just yesterday

when you held my hand

at the beach, walking on the sand

it was just yesterday

when you smiled at me

while explaining how things would be

in

our

future

it

was

just yesterday.

it’s not that I don’t care…

it’s not that I don’t want to hear you

its just that too many mouths want my ears

it’s not that I don’t want to see you

it’s just that so many faces want my eyes

it’s not that I don’t want to hold you

it’s just that so  many people want my embrace

it’s  not that I don’t care

its just that too many hearts want my care…

it’s not that I do not care

I’m only human…

i love you

I love you

I love you so so much

My love for you is more than what the word love can define

It’s a feeling so divine It makes my spirit start dancing

My love for is an intense force Exerted by my whole being

Experienced not just through seeing

But through hearing ,

Through feeling

Through everything I do

Even when I’m kneeling

I’m praying for you

The question…

When sounds become noise
And a thousand stabs on your back make you lose your poise
When smiles are forcibly turned upside down
And you wear shame as your gown
I ask you
How much can one heart stand?
Could it still stand…?

not THE best,MY best

‘ why cant you be more like this’

‘why cant you be more like that’

I hear the loud whisper of society

And end up drunk in confusion

But thankfully hope brings me back to sobriety

See I’m no albert Einstein

I probably will never publish a paper on ‘general relativity’

Though relatively speaking , I might

I can try my best to be smarter

Just don’t expect me to be Einstein junior

I’m no mahatma ghandi

i probaly will not leadd a country to its independence

or inspire movements for civil rights and freedom across the world

but i can inspire movemnets for civil rights and freedom across my world

I can do my best to inspire change

Just don’t expect me to be Ghandi junior

‘ why cant you be more like this’

‘why cant you be more like that’

I hear the loud whisper of society

And end up drunk in confusion

But  hope brings me back to sobriety

Don’t let anyone compare you to anyone else

Because any one person is the never the same another …

Don’t let people push you down just because you couldn’t  reach their expectations

Hear my words they bring revelations

Don’t let  them suppress you with condemnation

And the the  declaration

That I MIGHT NOT BE THE BEST BUT I CAN BE MY BEST!

To all those who ever looked down on me

Because they looked up to her

All those who thought I couldn’t because he can

Its okay , I understand why you would wanna me , im a legend in the making

doubt

My mind is a dangerous neighbourhood…

Doubt is always out to get me

And I don’t know how this came to be

Because if I should plant a tree

Doubt would cut it down

What I mend doubt will break

Whatever I get it will take

For goodness sake…

the world is full of people and people are full of the world

the world is full of people
some of them are big bullies
they think that just because it is so big, it wouldn’t feel them cutting its green treasures that grow only to release an air of life
that it wouldn’t smell the toxic smoke they blow in its face
or feel the blows and dents caused by their bombs when they decide to fight for ownership of a piece of the world

imagine people damaging you
as they fight over you

the world is full of people
some of them care about it

but others don’t

people are full of the world
they no longer care about helping each other out
they only care about what benefit should come to them if they did
they walk past a homeless man without an ounce of sympathy

for they judge him and his possible reasons
for not having a home

They rank each other from most important to least important

how can a living, flawed man judge the importance of another

people are full of the world
some try to change this
and some fill themselves with more of the world

the world is full of people
and people are full of the world

pen or mouth

sometimes deciding on the way and manner I want express myself is a bit challenging.

Should I use my pen and skilfully place my thoughts onto paper so that I may come back one day to reflect on them.

or should I use my mouth and voice my thoughts for people to hear…and possibly relate.

pen or mouth?

should I use my pen as a vessel through which my emotions can flow from heart to page and no one hears them.

or should I use my mouth to express my feelings since no one could see them

pen or mouth?

If I write my thoughts down no one would know what I’m thinking, no one would relate

but If I say what I’m thinking people might disagree, possibly flee

if I pour my feelings down onto paper, people won’t know what I’m feeling

but if I voice my feelings , people might reject them…

pen or mouth?

I should decide…

maybe my thoughts should just stay in my mind

and my feelings should just stay in my heart

because I still can’t decide

pen or mouth…

or is there another way?
